FBI fails again

It turns out that the FBI and local police knew about yet another teen who threatened  to shoot up a school, but they didn’t do anything about it. That teen shot a student at his old school.

Meanwhile, a Democrat was caught making anti-LGBT statements and, after being caught, blamed the statements on hackers. The FBI is investigating THAT. Will they blame the Russians? Trump? Gun owners?
I am really becoming convinced that this is deliberate. More shootings = more money and power for the cops.

Scholarships and political correctness

One of my students was filling out his application for scholarships today. One of the questions asked his race. One of the available choices?

“I self identify as being of two or more races.”

That is the one I told him to pick. He will be eligible for more money that way. Putting down that you are a Caucasian is almost certainly going to disqualify you for a lot of scholarships. It isn’t even fraud. “self identify” is not a measurable or objective standard. It allows you to be whatever you wish. Nothing will destroy the PC culture and expose it for what it is (racism against whites) faster than having the entire movement co-opted by whites who choose to self identify as something else.

An arsenal?

Cops bust a drug dealer with what they call an “arsenal” and “more ammunition than I’ve probably seen in my life,” says the cop.

What did they get?
4 ammo cans of ammo
5 handguns
3 shotguns
1 AR pattern rifle
1 SKS
and a bolt action rifle.

This is an “arsenal” and more ammo than the cop has seen in his life? I’ve taken more than that to the range on a Saturday. If I have less than 10 military cans of ammo on hand, I am low on ammo.

Apathy

The reason why these crazed mass shooters are able to commit their acts is not because we need more laws. It is because we need to enforce the ones we already have. The Waffle House shooter should never have been walking free, he should have been committed to a mental institution:

[Redacted] said he wanted to meet with US President Donald Trump and told a Secret Service officer at the northeast entrance that he was a “sovereign citizen” who had a “right to inspect the grounds,” according to a Metropolitan Police Department incident report dated July 7, 2017.

He was charged with unlawful entry, an arrest report states, but the charges were dismissed after he completed community service.

Authorities in Tazewell County, Illinois, later returned the seized weapons to [Redacted]’s father, who (according to other articles promised to keep them from him, but) then gave them back to his son, police said.

In May 2016, [Redacted] experienced a delusional episode telling first responders that he believed pop star Taylor Swift was stalking him, according to a police report.

[Redacted]’s family also told police he had made comments about killing himself.

Cop wasn’t a hero

It turns out that the cop involved in the shooting incident in Ocala, Florida yesterday wasn’t a hero, as the Sheriff claimed. The only reason this douche didn’t shoot more kids is that he decided not to.

Not a gun death

No guns were used in these murders, so according to those who are opposed to “gun death,” they don’t count.

Disney loves pedophiles

If you are a guest who is legally carrying a concealed weapon, Disney doesn’t want you there.
If you are an employee who legally has a concealed weapon, Disney will fire you.
If you are a child molester and child pornographer, Disney thinks you deserve a second chance.

Rights violations

Banks have been telling commercial customers that they will not do business with them any longer, if the customer sells anything that the bank doesn’t like- including so-called assault weapons, sells firearms to 18-20 year olds, and certain other products.

Following this, we are told that this is not a violation of people’s constitutional rights, because the Constitution only restrict government, not private individuals or businesses. I disagree.

It turns out that the banks in question are doing so because they are being pressured by government officials to adopt these policies. This has been a trend as of late, where government is effectively deputizing private entities to make end runs around the Constitutional protections we enjoy. For example, using the Geek Squad to peek into computers and then turn in suspected law violators. When being done at government request, searching a person’s papers and personal effects is still a violation of privacy, which is exactly what the BOR was trying to prevent.

How is it any different if the government violates you second hand or first hand? The government telling a bank to keep you from buying firearms is the same thing as the government telling you that you cannot buy them. It is still a violation of your rights.
