I promise you that Clarence Thomas has been sitting at home thinking about all of the attacks that his wife has had to endure, the threats of impeachment, and the disgraceful attacks on justices. Now that the decisions are rolling out, he is having the last laugh as he metaphorically bitch slaps the left like Will Smith slapped Chris Rock.

As reluctant as I am to ascribe the qualities of good character, ethics and morals to anyone holding a posiiton with fedgov, I’ve not yet seen or heard anything to cause me to believe Clarence is anything but a righteous dude.
Put it this way, he’s not yet done anything to piss me off, and that’s downright extraordinary. Even Scalia had some shit-tier remarks I took issue with. I have to wonder how a guy who seems solidly right minded can bear to spend so many years sharing a venue with so much scum. I couldn’t do it, nor would I be remotely interested.
I really hope he’s properly enjoying putting the screws to the left right now.

There’s a reason that in most of the photos of Justice Thomas his facial expressions look like either he’s constipated or smelling someone else’s farts. Rarely do you see him smiling and happy.
Dour and angry? Yes. Light-hearted and happy? Not so much.

The implications here seem particularly useful. Days before releasing the opinion on abortion, which has prompted attacks on churches and religious organizations by people who are threatening to escalate, the court releases an opinion limiting some unreasonable restrictions on lawful gun owners.
Last time leftists tried attacking churches in New York, at the behest of Cardinal O’ Connor, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Knights of Columbus and Opus Dei all had a grand time with baseball bats and golf clubs, and were polite enough to drive the would-be attackers in the trunks of their cars to get medical attention after.
I’d be OK with a part 2 of that. Amazing the number of leftists who have never been on the receiving end of street realpolitik.
