In 1959, the US Government drilled some ice cores in search of a location to put a missile base in Greenland. They found plants frozen into the ice, which indicates that Greenland was ice free recently, in climate terms. At some point within the last million years, possibly only several hundred thousand years ago, Greenland was ice free.

Now, to humans, a million years seems like a long time, but that is relatively recent in climate and geological terms. In fact, atmospheric CO2 was lower a million years ago than it is now. This indicates to me that climate is cyclical, and has little to do with humans adding CO2 to the atmosphere.

If there is little sea level rise, that means there is little net glacier melt, which means there is little global warming. How do we determine sea level rise since the start of the industrial revolution around 1850?

The slope of Florida is shallow, and the coast outline changes a lot with sea level change. The largest output fresh water spring in Florida is not Silver Spring, it is offshore in the Gulf under the present sea level, surrounded by the remains of a settlement of 20,000 people. That was exposed when there was most of a mile of glacier on top of the location of Chicago. Compare coastal navigation charts of Florida between 1970 and 2020, a 50 year span. If the outline of Florida is the same on the two charts viewed from five feet away then there hasn’t been much sea level rise. Going back 300 years, the St. Augustine fort was designed to have the toilet system flushed by tides. Just put a tape measure down a toilet hole to a get 300 year old sea level reference.

Browse to https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/sltrends/ (requires the trailing slash) then click on: US Stations / New York / 8518750 The Battery, New York. “The relative sea level trend is 2.88 millimeters/year with a 95% confidence interval of +/- 0.09 mm/yr based on monthly mean sea level data from 1856 to 2020 which is equivalent to a change of 0.94 feet in 100 years.” Oops. It’s a straight line trend, not the hockey stick of increasing coal, oil, natural gas use since 1850. Sea level rise should be a hockey stick, and it’s not. There goes the narrative. Sad trombone.

The mainstream media is lying to you, that’s their job always and everywhere. If the government is wrong about global warming, then what else are they wrong about? Why should we obey the government if they’re so hugely wrong? Quick, somebody keep Galileo from proving the government is wrong.
