This is an example of why you should never go check out odd noises without a weapon. Alligator mating season doesn’t start until April, but the early start to spring like weather this year (it was 92 degrees today) has the gators on the move.

Georgia Law provides for no less than one year and no more than 15 plus a max 25k fine for destructive weapons use (specifically naming Molotov Cocktails). Let’s see if that is part of the charges; my bet it isn’t.

First of all — don’t answer the door fool. But if you do … might want to have this handy:

If I hear a loud noise outside my front door I am not opening the door and stepping outside into the darkness. First, turn on the light. Then, look out the window and check security camera. Then, only after ensuring that there are no dangerous creatures on four or two legs awaiting do I open the door, which still leaves a locked storm door between me and outside.
