I agree with Fenix Ammunition on this one.
The law on this really sucks. If a 12-17 year old comes to the hospital, we are legally not permitted to discuss anything involving reproductive health with anyone that the patient (child) hasn’t permitted, including the patient’s parents.
It gets even more confusing. Let’s say that a 17 year old girl is involved in a car accident. Let’s look at a few scenarios:
- Being a minor, she legally cannot refuse medical treatment and must be transported to the hospital, even over her own objections.
- If she is pregnant, she can refuse care because the car accident can affect the unborn child, so she is considered to be an adult
- If she has a baby in the car but is not pregnant, she can refuse medical care for the baby, because she is the child’s mother, but she cannot refuse care for herself because she is a minor
This is what happens when the government gets involved in anything. They always make it muddier and more screwed up than it needs to be.

Just thinking about how nanny gov is involved in everything can be demoralizing.
Brandon is going to give an address at 2000hrs and “ask” for another $100 billion package for Israelkraine.
This time of revealing is beautiful as there can be no doubt for those with two brain cells and a synapse regarding ZOG.
Back in high school when I skipped with sweetheart and her friends told on her, the principal told our parents that we may be up to extra curricular activities and it was the best skip out school day ever.
The man made god known as gov has that reverse Midas touch and turns everything into a steaming corn studded turd.
If they are attempting to demoralize those of us from the vintage legacy America, this can haez potato mongo clown shit show is just too funny for that.

if the state is claiming you don’t have rights over your own child, guess that makes them responsible for whatever the child does?…hey, don’t come after me, i don’t have rights over my own kids…

I might be wrong, but I think that Carolina Care would be some kind of welfare type health care, not private insurance, which I guess they think gives them the right to bypass parents.

No. It’s a state law. Read:

An inlaw recently had an experience that is so incredibly sad, and just baffling medically speaking.
16 year old male knocks up 15 year old girlfriend. Child is severely malformed – the parts of the brain that have developed are necrotic, remaining portions have not developed (nor will they, because the inside of that skull is a cesspool of dead tissue). BUT the 15 year old thought it would be swell to have a kid, so she is the one running the show.
After weeks and weeks of ICU, they’ve finally decided to remove life support and let the baby go. It should have never been born, never been taken care of in ICU, it was a complete waste of time and money to everyone involved.
Except the hospital, staff, overtime budget, and the insurance company that paid for it all (you guessed it, State Healthcare picked up the tab!)
You remember the other day when I tried to tell you people hate the entire medical system? You and me paid for a 15 year old girls decision, the baby is the one that suffered, and the hospital staff… made money. That’s why they did it, for the money. At no time did that fetus have the potential for life. Never, not once. This is why the industry is looked down upon today. How many millions were KILLED by intubation and Remdisivir? For the money.
You should look into that handyman gig. I hear there’s some newly retired cops starting up a new business.

Blame Republicans and their “right to life” laws for that. When you are done blaming them for that, move on to blaming Democrats for EMTALA, which requires that hospitals treat everyone without regard for their ability to pay. The law doesn’t permit healthcare providers to decide who lives and who dies, even if it’s hopeless.
On a second note: Intubation has been and remains a valuable tool for respiratory failure. I’ve literally intubated hundreds of people during my career.
Lastly, unlike the police, no one is forcing you to do shit and I dont have special powers that make me immune from the law. You have a choice on whether or not to seek my services.
Lastly, your final paragraph is a personal attack, and violates my rules for posting here. Consider yourself warned. Please see the rules for posting here.

Apologies Sir.

Yeah, for my family there’s no question about minors, age, consent, or any of that shit. We live by one rule. As long as you live under MY roof, you obey my rules. Ain’t no govt anything that can rock that boat. Don’t like it? Move out.
Of course that’s tough talk now that all my kids are grown. But hey, this is the internet.
