When I saw the headline that a 2 year old had been shot and killed and his father charged with manslaughter, I opened the link expecting to see an accidental shooting. Instead, I saw a story about a 22 year old man and his two year old son who were living with his parents. They got in an argument, the man pulled out a handgun and discharged it, striking the two year old.
What really struck me was not only was there no mention of race, there were no pictures of the arrestee. Click Orlando is well known for doing this, and when they do, it usually means only one thing…So I went searching. It turns out that I was correct.

Not just Orlando, ANYWHERE! Most articles call them youths or teens, its also why ‘Cops’ is no longer aired.

It would appear that the two year old may have been winning the argument and paid the price. here in my Zone 1 area of South Carolina, this mornings headlines are:
“Deputies investigating deadly shooting in Richland County apartment complex”
“Columbia men arrested in connection with deadly shooting in Pine Grove Road”
“Two more men arrested in connection with mass shooting at Richland County park”
“Columbia police investigating after a man was found dead from traumatic injuries”
With the exception of the last head line, all are the usual suspects but judging from the area where the last one occurred let’s just say I won’t be surprised when the story is updated.
