Here is the response that I got to this post:

Going out in a blaze of glory, so the newly installed dictatorship can sleep safely at night is the way to go. Thinking that 1 in 1000 will resist is nice, but in reality, the SWAT team has a really good idea of which person will resist, and who will not. Yet, the image of a gun owner being locked up, and spending their life savings defending themselves will cause 99% of the remaining “resisters” to reconsider their position. The media will make sure the first dozen or so people getting massive jail terms or fines ends up all over the press. And, resistance will shred.

What you are forgetting is this: Once the cops gun down the first gun owner, it’s on. It would be a rather stupid tactic for gun owners to simply continue their lives while cowering in their homes, waiting for the knock on the door. Too many of us have seen how that movie ends.

Instead, prudence and proper tactics would say that the police are now enemy combatants. The only way to win such a conflict would be to attack the enemy where he is weak. The lone officer sitting on the side of the road. The cop out playing with his kids in the yard. Much easier than taking on the stack outside of your door. The only question would be how many gun owners would take on the fight, and how many would turn their guns (and their fellow gun owners) in to the police, so they could keep their pension?

I agree with the “response to your post” guy.
Sadly, may I say.

There will be some..spasims.
That, will be the Sum of the actions, in the big pic.
I can see the Headlines, Hear the Words, See the Aftermath pics of the “DT’s” be it the end or the perp walk.

Its damn near impossible to beat the brainwashing of The Media.

Not pointin directly at anybody…but the Average American….yeah, it ain’t good folks.

The Will to “Vote” …
Ain’t the same Will to Send the Pill.

It won’t just be “the nut” thats done.

Families are gonna be dragged into this.
In ways…i have yet to see mentioned anywhere.
Destruction in ways that wont “Directly” involve the “enforcers” and DA.

I bet, there’s ALOT of “significant others” of “People” out There that would like to have a say in ….
“Goin Hot” and “All the end results” of that decision.
You know, dieing, paralyzed, paralyzed in prison, dead kids and a parent survives, significant other turns ya in(magine that, denied fight and right to jail), kid(z) turn ya in, grammie and grampa, inlaws …

Hey, dont get mad at me.
The Shit Show, It Sprays.

Best of luck to all in there Discusssions, Decision(S), Plans and Actions.

Sadly, there are spouses and people who will. There were during the American War for Independence as well. Civil Wars are ugly. Just remember what the alternative is. Ask the Jews in Germany, the Soviets, the Khmer Rouge. Do this the wrong way, and we wind up eating our pets within a few decades.
Those pensions aren’t going to be worth shit if we keep printing money.

After the first wave of casualties, it’s gonna get ugly. First time the feds kill a wife or kid during an enforcement raid it’s all over. Oh it’ll take a while and a lot of people will bow out, but enough will engage that it turns into ‘whack a mole’.
I traveled with the carnivals working on the game concessions for 5 years. NOBODY whacked all the moles. NOBODY…

Ummm… Ever hear of Ruby Ridge or Waco, Texas. The Powers That Be gladly executed wives and children and the public sat by and, more or less, did nothing. It is going to take a gross negligent event of gargantuan proportions to get redneck Joe six pack up off of the couch and onto the firing line.

“The first one costs everything; the rest are free.” It is almost impossible to get away with a murder; especially the murder of a Police or Federal officer. Read “Boston’s Gun Bible or “Unintended Consequences” for a good reference point. Once you make that first kill, you are probably going to be on the run for the rest of your life (however short that may be). I would think that you would have to be a pretty desperate person with a pretty “Shi**y” life to be willing to make that kind of a sacrifice. Your typical family man or person who is happy with their lives certainly will not.

Just my two cents; or dollar twenty five if you account for inflation.

I think you need to re-read “Unintended Consequences” again – it wasn’t Henry Bowman that turned the tide, he just had to deal with the agents that were out to get him. It was the lone wolves that started taking out one at a time the oppressive bureaucrats and lying statist politicians that eventually turned the tide. In those cases – it’s work alone and tell no one. Don’t go on a rampage, just take out the most egregious local offender – so you never develop a ‘pattern’ that can be traced. Don’t think that once enough of these weasels, I mean moles, get whacked (speaking figuratively, of course) – that they won’t start over-reacting, triggering more of the fence-sitters to decide that they’ve had enough too. And yes, until and unless we get our country back, those ‘early whackers’ are at risk of being caught. Heck, many, if not most probably will – if things drag out too long. It’s a matter of personal choice, and accepting responsibility for your actions (or inaction).

This reminds me of the Resistance in Occupied Europe during WWII – MANY successful acts of sabotage and resistance were carried out by individuals – and were not caught since they didn’t talk about it.

The groups that did large flashy acts tended to be shorter lived…
