The 9th Circuit ruled that the closing of gun stores as “nonessential” during the 2020 lockdowns was unconstitutional. I expect the state will request an en banc ruling, and they will overturn it.

Why would they appeal this since the situation has ended, unless they want precedent to shut down gun stores in other situations?

See https://reason.com/volokh/2022/01/20/shutdown-of-gun-stores-during-early-covid-months-violated-second-amendment/. Bit of a long read but one of the judges involved lays out what happens to 2A cases in the 9th Circuit.

Because at this point, they have been handed a loss. In the 9th circuit, it is now illegal for them to order a shutdown. The only downside for them to appeal further at this point is a risk that it will go to SCOTUS and have a potential national decision. From their point of view, there is nothing to be lost and everything to be gained if they ask for an en banc ruling.

Guns are essential items as a Weather Underground traitorgov burns down society intentionally for the bought and paid for by the CCP faculty lounge.
Local shops have expanded big time but sadly the world class one is about to close up shop as the owner is almost 80 and starting to have some health issues not related to the plandemic.
