Mali and Burkina Faso have officially announced that they will declare war if Western-controlled nations invade Niger. No one has to invade Niger, Mali, or Burkina Faso. Just cut off all aid.

  • Mali and Burkina Faso each have a GDP of $19 billion, but nearly ten percent of that is foreign aid.
  • Niger is even worse off, with almost 20% of its GDP being foreign aid

In fact, each of those countries has relied upon foreign aid as their number one industry. Niger’s main export is Uranium, but nearly all of the proceeds from that are taken by its government. The remainder of the nation relies on subsistence farming.

Agricultural activities occupy 70% of Mali’s labor force and provide 42% of the GDP. The nation is an exporter of gold, but like Niger, the government takes all of the revenue from that.

Just cut off the financial aid, and they will be back to begging within a few weeks.

Can’t cut off aid. That would be racist. What’s wrong with you?

If America cut off ALL aid to ALL other nations, most, if not all, would make Venezuela look like paradise. I think if that happened, soon there would be a lot of new leadership around the world, as soon as the present ones were cut down from the lampposts/trees/bridges/etc.

I daresay any country that has that high a percentage of GDP based on “Foreign Aid” is engaged in “Parasite Diplomacy”. What happens in cases of parasitic infection is that either the host comes to it’s senses and ejects (by whatever means necessary) the parasite… or it dies.

Something gotta give……

Why we don’t just let those apes kill as many of each other as they wish, with no aid or interference from us, is beyond me.

The US blew 500 million on training & equipping the armed forces in Niger only to have this occur? Putin must be amused. I saw a photo of Vlad with the current HNIC yesterday, I wonder who’ll be the HNIC next month or the month after that?

Russia will get a cannon fodder reserve after Putin makes it grain?
Letting Russophobes take over foreign policy has been disastrous for the Chiquitastan turd.
I thought Brandon was Mr. Foreign Policy?

Simplicius has a good take on what is happening in Niger –
https://simplicius76.substack.com/p/sitrep-8123-the-hegemon-begins-to

He points out that French Corporations “Own” the Uranium, and their ‘ownership’ is at Risk if the New Government decides to “Nationalize” the Mines. I’m sure that they can then Sell the Uranium to Russia and/or China, dealing a Blow to the ‘Western Hegemon’. Normally, a Nation that Refuses to be an Exploited Colony of the ‘West’ gets Crushed by the FUSSA and NATO Military Machine, to Protect the Corporate Interests. See Libya and Iraq for examples.

I think that at this point in Time, it will be Difficult to impossible for the ‘West’ to reverse this Coup; possibly, they could Buy a ‘Counter-Coup’ from within the Country, but seeing that a couple of neighboring Nations are standing with Niger, any Overt Military Action would see Russia, China, and even Iran offering ‘Support”. The Russian Military certainly has the Capacity to Airlift a couple of Brigades to Niger within a few Days… Where is the nearest FUSSN Aircraft Carrier?

That Said, I fully Expect that Clownworld ™ will do something Stupid.. it’s all they are capable of now.
