The complete loss of not only common sense (they admit to eating meat while claiming that the killing of animals is wrong) and the complete loss of civility (an adult allowing his preteen son to call an adult an asshole and tell him to fuck off) is just a bridge too far.

Ah New Yorkers. I dislike all Marxists in general, and most every irrational urban lifestyle advocate I meet. They insist that they have the whole world figured out and us outlanders with the little town blues are living in the Stone Age. NYFC seems to combine and refine these types into a ground zero breeding ground for these D-bags. They wallow in the urban tough guy mystique they create for themselves and hand it down to the kids as seen here. I will only hunt in very remote places and will not even bother going near anything resembling a suburb for that purpose for reasons like this. I look forward to the mushroom clouds putting an end to this breed, in the mean time they can enjoy their ticks and Lyme disease with my compliments.

They feel they have a right to come up to you and run their stupid mouths. When we were kids, I would never think of talking to an adult like that and so disrespectfully.
Also the kid’s father needs to explain to the kids where your hamburgers come from and that it is a sad fact of life. When I was a boy scout and 11 years old, they took us on a tour of a turkey farm and we learned where your turkey dinner comes from. EVERY kid should be shown the same thing !

Absolutely. I had an incident in a supermarket parking lot. And the solution to this is even less civility. Shoot fuckers like that in the face (yeah, the kid too, otherwise he grows up to be an even bigger intolerable asshole, having been steeped in the diseased ideology so young), and cleanse the gene pool of self entitled twats. We won’t get rid of this problem by being nice guys and trying to defuse confrontations with reason and logic. The guy in the truck was perfectly reasonable, the morons interdicting him weren’t. Further, the attitude of pricks like those in the clip has become absolutely pervasive, and it needs to be wiped out.
Since we can’t overwrite the contents of a irrecoverably damaged mind like we can with a USB stick or SSD, the only solution is complete destruction of the storage media so that the faulty program ceases to exist in any form. And that is why war is coming, because “war” is just the process of mass liquidation of one’s enemies, and dressing it up in terms that make it both legal and palatable to the surviving faction.
The ideological division needed to kick it off is already present in spades, now all we need is the resource scarcity and economic ruination to drive people to act out of desperation. And that is coming soon enough.
Understand, that isn’t the solution I want. I want jerk offs to realize that they are jerk offs, and stop acting like jerk offs, so we can get in with living life without all the needless aggravation they bring upon society. But they are unwilling to, and incapable of doing that (put succinctly, they won’t leave us alone, and will continue to insist on imposing upon us), so at some point the impasse will have to be settled by force.
If the good guys don’t do what needs doing, the bad guys will do to us what the Bolsheviks, Mao, Pol Pot and countless other dogshit tyrannies throughout history have always done to those who just wanted to be left alone. If we wish to avoid that fate – and I’m not going out like that – we are going to have to get messy, much as it would be preferable to avoid that.
Be honest, short of divine intervention, does anyone see a non-violent path out of this? I sure don’t. The die is cast, and we have the benefit of having seen this show before, via the historical record. We know what’s happening, and where it ends up.
