The world record for men in the 1500m race is 3:26, a full 24 seconds faster than women.
A time of 4 minutes at the 1500m mens race at the 2018 Gold coast games would not have even made the finals. The slowest man in the finals ran the race in 3:53.43. (pdf alert)
The fastest woman ran the same race in 4:00.71.(pdf alert) The thing is, the person who won wasn’t a woman. It was a man who isn’t fast enough to compete against the men, so has chosen to identify as a woman. Yaknow… Since women, especially minority women, more often voted for Joe and Kamala, part of me is laughing Schadenfreudistically over this.
It’s not like Joe or Kamala didn’t say they’d do this during the campaign.
So far, pretty much all their campaign promises have come true, unfortunately.

I checked YouTube comments, all uniformly positive – not one mention that this was a man running against women. I suspect YouTube just deleted any non glowing comments.
