I hope you didn’t get cut up too bad going over the razor wire on your way out …

I got out of the racket after twenty-seven years of teaching in three countries. I taught middle and high school, and college courses in AP and International Baccalaureate. During those years I saw first hand the dissolution of discipline and standards—slowly at first then quite rapidly as the “woke” nightmare began to take hold. During my last years in the classroom it became impossible to speak the truth about crime, race, Christianity, morality and biology. A board member of the school even threatened me with unemployment and legal action because of something I had said in an 8th grade classroom. What were my heinous and terrifying words?

“Men and women are different.”

I have been delightfully retired for almost two years. Never going back.

Congratulations on seeing it through as far as you did!
I am sure I would not have been able to stand the frustration as long.
Here’s to your new job providing more sanity and satisfaction than the teaching thing!
