Light posting today. I am under a deadline to finish an evidence based project to evaluate one of our medication administration policies. I found an error in the way that we administer and document medicine, and I have been assigned the project of reviewing the evidence and submitting it to management so that the policy can be changed.

Best wishes. One of my forte’s is finding holes in systems/procedures……. and even though companies “welcome” said skillset on interview and initial hire, my experience is they really don’t want welcome it….. nor happy about me bringing forth said holes…..

I always loved those(not). Nurse manager always foisted those on me as I was a very technically oriented and had mad research skills. I always wrote them so she had to hit the books to understand what I was reporting.

On your time or theirs? These type projects can be a real OT generator and good payback for the screwing on training time.
