I knew the guy who owned it. He said that the local cops took hours to arrive after the alarm went off. And they said there’s not much they can to help. After the owner reported the theft to the ATF sure enough they showed up right away. The ATF figured out to ask the next door car lot if they could check their camera’s for evidence. Yup they got the license plate number of the get away car. Ran it. Went over to the thief’s house and got every gun back plus more. Sometimes you get lucky. This is why many gun stores have metal posts out front and other barriers to vehicles.
