It was found here. Look at the muzzle flash. It is pencil thin where it leaves the muzzle, where it is less than half the diameter of the bore. The news seems to be more fake than real these days. I keep wondering how much of our news is disinformation.

He also has the action pumped back, in a position where the round cant possibly be fired.

Looks to me more like there's some sort of slot cut into whatever is on the end of the barrel (or the barrel itself) for whatever reason. The second shotgun visible to the right certainly doesn't disprove such a hypothesis, although the picture is of such low quality that it cannot confirm it.
Unfortunately not knowing shotguns too well I can't find any other images to prove or disprove theory.
