So-called food deserts. The Democrat claim is that low income neighborhoods have few places to buy food, and this is because stores are racist. Of course, that is complete bullshit. The real problem looks just like this:

Higher income neighborhoods don’t do this. White neighborhoods largely don’t do this (exceptions being places like California and other liberal strongholds that have decriminalized theft). If you are stealing the food markets blind, they will have no choice but to close.

Quite. Pharmacy deserts are also a thing, at least in San Francisco where either Walgreens or CVS, I forget which, has started closing stores due to theft.

This also tends to happen after stores are burned down by rioters. It can take time before they are willing to come back (or their underwriters are willing to insure a store there again).

Shoplifting only occurs where they haven’t previously burned out the store.

Silly rioters! First loot, *then* burn!

Also keep in mind that the majority of the store’s profit is coming from “Inside the store”, not through Gasoline sales. If this continues, this store will be closed(or sold off). It’s a shame, really. Wawa is a good chain. Gasoline deserts are a thing too.

I would wager that this WAWA is not in these feral’s neighborhood. If Wawa built a store in their neighborhood then they deserve what they get. The culture of these ferals is a disease.

The latest fad I’ve seen is “Using facts and logic is racist!!” I wonder if personal responsibility is as well.
