The other thing is, play for keeps, these cops would have used real bullets given the chance. Don’t give them another chance to make that happen, they made their intent clear.

Lovers of freedom all over the world ought to pay close attention to what is happening in Australia and New Zealand now, for they are the proverbial canaries in the coal mine for all of us.
The first target the communist Chinese will probably hit is Taiwan, but the Aussies and Kiwis are in grave danger as well. The danger right now is less of an overt invasion, but an invasion by another name. If civil order breaks down, it is within the realm of possibility that the Aussie government “requests” UN and/or Chi-Com assistance, which would supply a perfect pretext to station their forces on Aussie/NZ soil for “peacekeeping” or other politically-correct purposes – but really with an eye toward subduing the protests and establishing firmer control over those places for the Chi-Coms and their globalist pals.
The obsolete model of how to win a war and conquer territory is to engage in a destructive conventional war or even a limited nuclear conflict. Even if one side wins a clear-cut victory, the territory gained is devastated and is therefore a net economic drag upon the victor(s). The “new” way is to destroy the enemy ability to wage war, and perhaps even the people themselves, but leaving largely intact their economy and infrastructure for use by the occupiers. This model has great appeal for the Chinese, who need arable land and living space for their billions of people.
It is for these reasons that biological weapons are so appealing to them. They kill off or at least so weaken that they cannot resist effectively, the adversary population… but leave intact the defeated nation’s resources, crop-lands, industrial plant, and so forth.
It would also be perfectly suitable for the Chinese to “take” Australia and New Zealand as puppet or vassal states. Meaning that the presence of a sympathetic leadership class in both nations (Australia + New Zealand) would run them as PRC satellites, without too overt a Chinese presence.
This eventuality is not beyond their reach, not at all: Recently, the PRC “informed” the government of the Philippines that the PRC would be opening “China Desks” in each and every one of its national police stations. This sounds an awful lot like a de facto military occupation. Has Manila already surrendered in secret?

Also, the “Pretenders” in Wash, DC–sleepwalking in a haze of “Magic Never-Never Land,” trumpet the recent AUKUS partnership in sharing nuke sub technology with the Aussies. Big whoop. Big mistake.
Get real! The AUS continent is controlled by CCP stooges who will be more than pleased to snag more of Uncle Sam’s high-value defense toys for free, a la the $90B giveaway in Kabul. Taliban & Co. already have The Chinaman there on the ground for the spoils, reverse-engineering, finding gaps in abandoned US equipment, and the like.
