This is how Germany went green by becoming woke. It’s a model that we are going to follow. Step one, close half of your nuclear plants:
Step two, replace them with Solar and Wind:
Step 3, go woke by refusing all Russian natural gas:
Step 4: Now that you are going broke, switch to coal
Yeah! Way to fight the fight.

Way back in time long ago, I read an article from a professor who said why he wasn’t celebrating earth day, and no one else should either.
The crux of it was that there was nothing in this world that brought more people out of poverty, and created more equality than cheap, ubiquotus electric power.
Think about it – what does mamasita do all day in a town with now power? Wash, clean, cook. All day.
I’ve had more than one argument with green energy ninnies. about simple math and physics. You can’t generate anywhere near the amount you need, and it has to be stored. So if you are doing solar at the house, you’re wasting your money if you don’t have a robust battery system. I won’t even go into the amount of energy required to build windmills and solar panels.
Fun to see the krauts getting some common sense. Hope they make it before the fall.

Ahh, brings to mind the good old days during the 70-80s fuel crisis (not), let them freeze in the dark, I don’t Fn care.
