Here comes the left, proposing laws that expand the FedGov’s reach and control of housing. It’s almost like I told you what was coming. Oh yeah, I did.

I followed the link and started reading. I felt my self getting stupider by the sentence. Stuff like that needs an OSHA warning or Califrutopia warning…. Maybe something like “Caution, open sewer line” or maybe “Warning, contagious stupidity”.

So much pablum in such a short article….
But let’s concentrate on this:
We have a housing shortage of approximately 7.3 million rental homes for low-income renters. As a result, over 12 million families spend more than 50 percent of their income on rent.
Perhaps not letting 30 million illegals into the country would have avoided that. Perhaps ejecting as many of them as we can would be a good start at reducing the crisis. Perhaps profligate printing of money is the reason inflation is out of control. Perhaps not doing that would keep prices in check. Perhaps your concern about this crisis would be a good opportunity to STOP sending $Billions to fund the “security” of Ukraine, Israel, and every other foreign nation, while abdicating responsibility for our own.
I could go on….

We have a housing shortage because Democrats have created and reinforced hugely expensive land use regulations.
I saw a study recently that claimed the average new build in the US had $90,000 invested before ground was broken.
Most cities make it expensive to build anything, then complain because housing prices are high. They created the problem – they could easily fix it, but instead they blame others and raise fees further.

It isn’t a coincidence that people are fleeing expensive cities and moving to less expensive ones. Many of the areas seeing the most growth have little to bo permitting or land use regulations outside cities and far less of a planning burden in cities – for example, look at Texas, Tennessee, and Wyoming in contrast to California or New York.

That’d go a long way on it’s own. Hell it’s probably more than thirty million.

As soon as comrade Bernie rents out two of his mansions at a reasonable rate that “poor” folks can afford, I’ll pay some attention to what he says. AOC? I don’t think it’s possible that ANYTHING that comes out of her man pleaser will ever make sense.

You know those feeble brained useless idiots didn’t come up with any that.
Hatred of Ol’ YT means that what worked for millennia known as Western Civ gets flushed down in the faculty lounge latrine.
Those that are too stupid to exist, get put out of misery.
