One of my issues with red dot sights is that they make it difficult to find a holster. That looks like its been solved, if this sight is any good. Anyone have one, or know someone who does?

Most holster makers have offerings for red dot sight equipped pistols now. This Leopold offering is a solution in search of a problem.

Not really. I had to have a holster for my Shield plus with the Trijicon RMR custom made by Milt Sparks. There was an 8 month wait. Couldn’t find a decent holster anywhere.

I get what Leupold was/is trying to do, but I think they didn’t quite get there.

Honestly, we havent sold A One yet, and We have had the display for a yr plus.
I am a dot guy…but I have no “Live Fire time , only time on the Display we have.
Perhaps I should ask the boss to take the display home for the weekend??…

They work, but the window is small and it it easy to lose the dot. If you are looking for a leather holster that works with a dot, look at Wright Leatherworks. If you are fine with kydex, there are a number of options.

I saw one at a local gun store. It wasn’t anywhere near that big.

The issue when it comes to red dots on guns – the more common the gun, and the more common the red dot, the easier it will be to find a holster. Also, most makers that accommodate red dots do it in kydex
Glock, SW, Sig with a RMR/holosun footprint will be pretty easy to find.
You didn’t mention your gun. That Leupold isn’t very common.
Worst case, if you find a kydex holster you like, you may be able to modify it for the proper clearance
