Fox hasn’t been “conservative” in a long time, if ever. They never advertised they were; the tag line has always been “fair and balanced” after all. They’re just another media outlet that happens to employee a couple of commentators who don’t advocate communism.

Fox News is how rich Billionaires reach a certain demographic, same as how other rich billionaires target other demographics.
Fox just happens to be how old money Republicans hand out their marching orders to their flying monkeys. Hence the presence of the elder corporatist billionaires- the Murdochs, the Romneys, the Koches.
Old money Republicans are losing their place in the party. Pearl Clutching and tone policing have finally run their course.
