All joking about boating accidents aside, when we get to that point, they aren’t going to be asking where your guns are. Someone you know will turn you in. Ask Yunis Isaac Mejia how that works.

The cops will arrive and stack at your door before killing your dog, tossing a couple of flashbangs into your windows, then kicking the door in. They may or may not kill your wife and one of the kids. Then they will tear apart the house, torch open your safe, then arrest and hold you indefinitely while you await trial because they found a rifle you didn’t even know was illegal. Even if they find nothing, they won’t fix any of the damage, and your dog and family will still be dead. Sound far fetched? Ask Randy Weaver.

You will be charged with 18 Federal felonies and will be facing up to 86 years in Federal prison. The judge will order you held without bail, and your lawyer will be denied access to exculpatory evidence on national security grounds. Far fetched? Ask the J6 protesters.

They will then offer you a deal: They will “allow you” to plead guilty to a single felony in order to reduce your prison time to “only” 42 months. All you have to do to get this deal is turn in one of your buddies who owns one of the prohibited guns. How many of your friends down at the gun range will do that to spare themselves decades of prison time?

Who knows about your guns? Do you have a family member that is moderately against guns, but knows what you have? Don’t think your family would dime you out? Neither did this guy until his son turned him in.

For many of us, the die is already cast. Can’t undo what has been said to other folks before. If you’re blessed to have controlled your big mouth (especially to family and perhaps co-workers who don’t agree with you on guns) then keep up the good work.
If not… well it’s hard for me to see any options other than total submission or get wiped out. I have thought of various things trying to be clever and while we should try, with this kind of thing I think it’s like DM says. If they’re running around doing this then you don’t have the normal 4th amendment and other protections that we’re used to, forget about it. They’re going to ruin you until you give them all up and you’re not seeing the sun again until they think you’ve given it all up and then made an example of you.
Get right with God! and maybe re-read John Ross’ book or one of Mike Vanderbeough’s books.

I will willingly die on my feet, before I kneel to EVIL.

      Divemedic · July 30, 2022 at 11:52 am

You think that. We all would. Until you are staring down the ruination of everyone and everything you know. The Feds are saying that they are not only going to toss you in prison, but your wife and kids. They are going to fine you $2 million and take your kids into foster care.

They are threatening to take your mom’s house using asset forfeiture. You can’t hire a lawyer because they have locked all of your bank accounts.

What ever the case may be, they will find your weak spot. Everyone has one, and they are very good at using that to get you. They know who you love, they know what you value most. The one thing or one person that they can use to bend you to their will.

If there is one thing that I have learned from watching the J6 show, its that the Feds will find enough people that will dime others out.

Take steps now to safeguard everything.

        You think that.
You don’t know me, with all due respect, fuckoff.
        We all would.
I now know where you stand and it ain’t with the Founding Fathers that pledged it all for freedom, then did it. Speak softly, maybe your masters won’t hear you until after the fight.
Until you are staring down the ruination of everyone and everything you know.
Your freedom, your family’s freedom, your descendants freedom, your country’s freedom is not important? What’s that saying, anyone that puts security before freedom, deserves and will get neither?
The Feds are saying that they are not only going to toss you in prison, but your wife and kids. They are going to fine you $2 million and take your kids into foster care.
Another old saying, better dead than red (communist) fits here. The fascists are DOING THAT ANYWAY! Just slowly boiling the water. You deserve what you tolerate, get ready.

They are threatening to take your mom’s house using asset forfeiture.
She’s dead already. And again, THEY’RE DOING THAT ALREADY.

You can’t hire a lawyer because they have locked all of your bank accounts.

Fuck 99% of all scum sucking lawyers, their mommy’s and the horse they rode in on.

So all your posts on what to do mean nothing? When they come to your door, you won’t do anything other than kneel before them while they trash you and yours? Are you hoping they’ll come for you last? Good luck, you are going to need it.

          Divemedic · July 30, 2022 at 1:40 pm

Dude. Chill. I am pointing out that EVERYONE has a weak point. Knowing what yours is and being prepared for that is a good start. Don’t think that you are immune from that. There is something that you have or want that they can use against you. I guarantee that. Ask Randy Weaver about that.
If you think you and everyone you know are immune to coercive pressure, you are mistaken and are likely to be the person who caves first.

Watch with the personal attacks. They are not permitted here.

Solzhenitsyn wrote of “burning in the camps”, and speculated about how things might have been had they taken action when they still could.

In the scenario, they are not theatening your granma, your bank acount, or legal action, they’re stacking on your door. As you make clear in your argument, this moment is your LAST opportunity to actually defend yourself. If you *cannot* submit to slavery, live free, or DIE. And why not take enough of them with you to esure it cost them more than it’s worth?

The FBI reported that much of their “hasty decisions” in the Ruby Ridge scenario, was due to their concern for an imminent reponse from his neighbors. See if you can hold out that long…

Submitting to slavery is not an available option for everyone, and some of us have been there before and already know what we will do.

joe · July 30, 2022 at 10:47 am

that or a hellfire missile from a drone…apparently they can just keep printing money so it won’t cost them much…the utter hatred and deep rooted fear they have toward us is real…the goal is reducing the population anyway so if a couple of your neighbors die in the explosion they won’t care…the time is near…i have zero faith left that anyone in washington is doing anything for it’s citizens or this country…

They can’t recruit enough cannon fodder to make the world safe for rainbow bathhouse but a fully charged EBT card or grocery rations could be used to sign up the replacements for the USPF or the black/brown shirts of the CPUSA could be useful idiot minions.
Trust no one always works and keep quiet about everything.
Lincoln was right about being destroyed from within and he didn’t get that from his pen pal Karl Marx.

    Beans · July 30, 2022 at 8:10 pm

They won’t need to recruit. They’ll use their brownshirt brigades to attack you, your immediate family, your extended family, your job, all your family’s jobs, the places you and yours live, all y’all’s accounts, loans, mortgages…

Just look at Nazi Germany, Wilson’s America, Soviet Russia, FDR’s America, Red China, Obama’s America, Communist China, Commie Cuba, Peron’s Argentina…

Jim in the Valley · July 30, 2022 at 12:50 pm

Sure it will cost a few dollars but you can rush proof your home. Lexan windows like you see at banks. Steel doors and frames reinforced to the framing of the house. Fat cops (meal team 6) won’t be able to ram down your doors and the flash bangs will just bounce off. This will buy you precious minutes to escape out the basement tunnel and into the wood line. If you do decide to fight it out, ensure you have standard Feral Hog shooting sights – thermal, infrared and night vision along with gyro stabilization. If you gotta go down, take as many with you as possible. Remote firing stations and .50 API. Watch your lane!

    EN2 SS · July 30, 2022 at 1:05 pm

I’m thinking if enough get shot, the scumsuckers will lose their resolve. The question is, who is willing to fight for the next two hundred+ years of freedom as our forefathers did? Oh, they’re going to fuck with me and my family, so screw everybody else. That’s going to work great, ain’t it?

    Divemedic · July 30, 2022 at 1:45 pm

    mike · July 30, 2022 at 3:04 pm

My take: Discretely harden the homestead enough to make an unplanned raid a difficult proposition. It should be subtle enough in peacetime not to arouse concern from the neighbors farm that you are looking to go out like the Brach Dividians. You can get elaborate as you want, but the more it looks like a Vietnam firebase and less like a home, the more unwanted interest it will bring you. My logic is the prepared defense should not be obvious to an attacker until they are committed to the attack. The obstacle plan should surprise them and throw off any intending timing between elements. The main idea is to give the defense enough time to stand to for engagement. or to allow a withdrawl and escape under pressure if they sent the A team after you.
My planning would be for antifa/blm type raiders, bandits, and the like. The same defense should serve well for more “official” attackers too, depending upon who it is. There seems to be a big gap in skills between that Texas swat team and ST6. If I were expecting a visit from the professionals, it is probable that an open state of hostilities is in progress in most of the country, and I would have already gone over to a wartime plan of sleeping in the field on campaign. I may be within overwatch distance of the homestead, but I sure as heck wouldn’t be sleeping there waiting to get killed in an overmatch fight. Once again for emphasis, a home defense plan is for peacetime or early stage/low intensity conflict in the event you are caught there by surprise. If bigger events are underway, big roundups and such, you should be like the old IRA or Vietcong and simply not home when they come calling.

This. Keep your ear to the ground and ‘talk’ to folks (including here) so you have a chance of knowing if this shit is going on.

I read something somewhere recently that I think is a key for us. The gist was, we, each of us individually, needs to stop being so afraid of what they’re going to do to us and make them more worried about what we’re going to do to them if it comes to fighting. Think of it as a cross between Northern Ireland and that Alexandr Solzhenistyn quote about how we burned in the camps later wondering if we could have made desperation attacks and made them stop. We can. It’s really hard for most of us, no matter how hardcore you think you are, because you really are burning your bridges behind you once you open up. But I think most of the people reading here do have some mental red line in the sand for which each of us would fight. The key is to not be in denial that it’s come to that, and you need to hit them aggressively and not wait for them to come to take you down in your home. Of course you’re burning your bridges by doing that and etc it loops around.

I have my red lines in the sand and I know I have my best chance of making it hurt so long as I don’t get taken by surprise. Say what you will now, none of us will know until the moment if we actually have it in us to make that leap.

I find inspiration in reading the events of April 19, 1775 at Lexington and Concorde. They faced very much the same prospects, hundreds of troops of their own army came into town around 0500 to take their weapons and to arrest Samuel Adams and John Hancock for treason. The shooting started in Lexington and by that afternoon, the Revolutionary War had started.

The shooting started in Lexington and by that afternoon, the Revolutionary War had started.”

That one is the ultimate example of a mass militia callout in war. The Brits faced down a couple dozen men a Lexington Green at dawn with 800 men and by nightfall they were back in Boston, defeated, and besieged by a militia army of 10,000 men. The alarm reached as far as the Maine coast to the north and Connecticut to the south in that single day and saw responding town militias assemble and force march for Boston. The terror of “The Night of the Lexington Alarm” was legendary in New England while it was within living memory. It must have been really something to have seen first hand.
We don’t have that kind of organization or personal bonds of commitment to each other that they had then, but it is still possible to work on that while time remains.

Will they fight to the last bureaucrat?

    mike · July 30, 2022 at 4:48 pm

“Will they fight to the last bureaucrat?”

I don’t think so. They had that plan in 2021 to go door to door nationwide asking about vaxx status. It was not billed at the time as any kind of forced compliance roundup,, just setting the stage. It all went away very quickly after a very limited and localized trial run. That could have been a brilliant pretext to smoke out some of the more inclined to fight it out on the front steps types. It was on its face, fairly harmless, as far as the normies were concerned. I recall a fair amount of talk at the time of violent greetings for the clip-board toting door knockers. It seems like the reasonable prospects of some unexpected attrition among the new scut workers, and the wider side effects, was enough for them to top it.

This military analysis is a fiction story from the enemy. You see how well the war on drugs has eliminated all drugs, right? Well, in the AWB case the set of threatened government victims is half the population. What do you think would start happening about three days after news gets out about the first set of victims? If this AWB passes and is signed then what’s going to happen is nothing, just like after Connecticut passed a registration bill in 2014 and sent out 250,000 registered letters to suspected gun owners.

Discretely harden the homestead enough to make an unplanned raid a difficult proposition. It should be subtle enough in peacetime not to arouse concern from the neighbors farm that you are looking to go out like the [Branch Davidians]. […] My logic is the prepared defense should not be obvious to an attacker until they are committed to the attack. The obstacle plan should surprise them and throw off any intending timing between elements.

And in the meantime, the structural hardening means you withstand hurricanes, tornadoes, and non-governmental thieves better.

Nevada · July 31, 2022 at 6:56 am

If they start coming to collect guns and arrest people, you’re already dead. You might die in prison, you might figuratively die when you get out in 3 1/2 years and your life is ruined, or six months later they might march your disarmed ass into a concentration camp.

Many people are going to puss out As divemedic says. But enough people need to be willing to return fire on a raid because of enough people do that in the Alexander Solzhenitsyn quote will come true.

There aren’t enough dedicated cops in the country to take everybody’s guns and certainly not enough feds to do it. I guarantee you in the face of probable gunfights street cops won’t do it and feds won’t either. If they come for people one by one like the January 6 people they might be screwed but a mass confiscation simply won’t happen.

If they come to your door make your peace with your life, nut up, and discourage them from trying somewhere else.

There is very little each individual can do against the state if they decide to come for you. A lot of what is being described in responses is last stand, Alamo type activity. Sure, everyone has some idea of what they can withstand, and where there red lines are.

Stacking up outside your door won’t be the only option to get people to comply. Freezing bank accounts, seizing your 401k, etc. They’ll get creative if they want to make a move large scale.

Aesop · July 31, 2022 at 1:38 pm

That’s how it will start, sure.

Like the 9/11 hijackings, that will work once or twice, for about a half an hour.
Which is why even the 911 hijackers only batted .750 at the end of the day.

Say they do that. On Monday.
By Tuesday, it’s open season on that entire department.
On Wednesday, the last straggler is pumped full of 200 rounds, along with his entire family, trying to get out of Dodge.
Social media and text messages will issue “shoot on sight” orders for any LEO within or attempting to enter that civil boundary: city, county, whatever. Within hours.

The army couldn’t take any single county in this country and hold it, for as long as a week, with less than a full combat division.

Ignoring rather more pressing international concerns, the Army (12+8 divs) and Marines (3+1 divs) combined can only field 15 active divisions, and another 9 reservist, and 3/4s of the reservists would be the ones shooting at the po-po, come that day.
Their air support would be getting pot-shotted from the flightline to 2000′, coming and going, 24/7/until they were out of action, and that’s before the road and trail lines into the bases were cut.
Anything that moves would die.

It took something like 200 police to take down two bank robbers in North Hollywood, and one Dorner ran the combined law enforcement agencies of CA ragged for a week.

We have over 100M gun owners. even 0.1% of them taking just one shot apiece at Officer Friendly would turn this nation upside down, and civilization would melt like ice cream on a Florida sidewalk in August.

So stack on that door, and watch anyone wearing a badge sign his or her own death warrant. We’ll be out of cops nationwide inside a week, and more likely by Wednesday or Thursday the first week it’s tried, and most folks won’t even get into their second loaded magazine to get there.

And every single one LEO in the country knows that, in their bones.

You can’t collect a pension if you’re dead, and if they start kicking in doors, the jig is up, no fish & game rules, and screw the bag limit, and after the first one, all the rest are free.

After that, new recruits for anything else will be a little thin on the ground, and the survivors are just as likely to arrest their former would-be overlords, and conduct drumhead courts martial, with a spool of wire, and convenient telephone poles, right in front of city hall.

Say “When”.

This isn’t chess, where they can pull a stunning “checkmate”.
It’s baseball.
And the other team always gets their turn at bat too.

Nobody’s tried anything as epically stupid since Custer tried to surround 3,000 Sioux and Cheyenne warriors with 323 cavalry troopers.

But it’ll be fun to watch, while it lasts.

The odds were better to win the last powerball drawing, and I didn’t get that ticket either. But there’s always a pretty good chance some given chief of police never did well at math, and will choose…poorly.

The Freeholder · August 1, 2022 at 1:04 pm
