When the news comes out with “investigators have found social media accounts connected to the suspect that reveal hundreds of postings and images, including writings with racially or ethnically motivated violent extremist rhetoric, including neo-Nazi material and material espousing the supremacy of the white race” can we believe it? Especially since we know that the Feds have full access to social media administrative tools? We all know how the KKK is filled with people named Mauricio and Garcia.

In the 80s, there was an ad campaign that I think applies here:

And back in the late 70’s the FBI handlers of Whitey Bulgers men knew pretty quick who gave the double tap to Memorex’s CEO Roger Wheeler in the parking lot of Southern Hills Country Club Tulsa Oklahoma

The Eppsbois were busy building that up.
Could you imagine being so dull and void that you fear some rainbow buttplug bois or can’t see right through their lame scripts?

Unfortunately, I’m not surprised… Almost since it started, Facebook has created public pages for celebrities, authors, and others who didn’t have pages but FB thought should, so it created rhwm without permission. FB claimed it was ok because they only used public information…

I remember that James Wesley Rawles complained about in 2009.

And yet, strangely, no picture of Mr. Garcia, that awful white supremacist.

No, you’ve nailed it. And its going to present a bigger problem than most people realize… nobody believes anything the goernment says anymore about anything.
Extrapolate that to secondary and tirtiary knock on affects.

The larger point is this: Since when is a person’s posting to Social Media considered evidence against an uninvolved party?
If I were to post to the book of faces, saying something like “I am going to shoot President Reagan because Jody Foster told me to,” would that mean that Jody Foster is guilty of conspiracy to kill the President? Of course not.
So why then does a Hispanic posting Nazi propaganda in any way an indictment of the right, or of gun owners?
