From the “can’t stop the signal, Mal,” file, those ” 3D printed cellphone holders for $149 are amazing. Not just because there’s about two cents worth of filament there, but that there are 3D printers that can be bought for almost that price. (Double checking I see the Elegoo Neptune is up to $180) With a bit of luck, a bit of work, (and open source collaboration), someone could make as many as they want.

Third pin sets and drilling mandrels have been all over the place for a long time, in addition to dog ear (C) hammers and other LPK goodies. These days…you buy the ticket you take the ride. The word stupid comes to mind if you’re not into Form wons. There have also been better backyard options on open bolt remilled garden tools for a long long time. And, those work better. As BCE would say…some shit just glows.
