Democrats are proposing a license issued by the DOJ in order to purchase, possess, or obtain a firearm. In order to get this license, you would need to be at least 21 years old, pass a written and practical exam, be fingerprinted, and prove your identity.

Can you imagine of Republicans initiated a similar plan for voting registration, obtaining an abortion, or receiving welfare?

Not only is this unconstitutional, but I will not obey. This merely lets the feds know where all of the firearms are for when the confiscations begin. Nope. Not now, not ever.

I wonder if the government is going to place kiosks behind stores, schools, in parks, and alleyways so the criminal element can comply……/sarc off

The president of El Salvador stated on an open mic that the only way America could be destroyed this quickly is from within.
What about constitutional carry states?
This is their way to stop it.

Meh, I already had to do this for my CCW in SC and to get my Utah endorsement so they can f*ck all the way off.

It’s long been my intention that the Uni-party, along with all their various and sundry special interest groups, are in for the long con. As above, several congress critters of one section of the uni-party propose some outrageous bill that will never get out of committee, never come to the floor, never be voted on, but is great red meat for their rabid base. They then send out mailers asking for donations to “help” and start raking in money.

The other section of the Uni-party sees that sham bill, then immediately sends out mailers to their base saying OMG, look what their proposing, we need immediate donations to fight this horrible bill.

The originals then jump up and say their being attacked by special interest groups and send out mailers for even more donations.

The second group acts offended and sends out even more mailers.

And at the end of the day, they all get some of the grift. This is bread and butter for the NRA and has been for decades. Yes, I’m sure the various congress critters would love them some heavy handed government control, but this is probably just a money raising BS thing. Until it actually gets out of committee and sent to the floor, it’s nothing.

Wrong! It lets the feds know so that a lefty can leak the list to their buds who will then steal said firearms. Just as happens repeatedly in Australia.

Every time I’ve bought a gun from a dealer, I’ve had to fill out an intrusive form.
The FFL had to tell the FED what make, model, caliber and serial number was.
It was all attached to my address.
Why do you think the .GOV doesn’t have a registration already?
