Kirk Cameron has a faith based children’s book, filled with positive life lessons. He wants to read that book to children at a library during a story hour. None of the libraries that he has contacted is interested, even though many of those same libraries are allowing men dressed as women to have their own story hours.

I wonder why that is…

Remember. Faggot pedophilia and grooming is just a crazy conspiracy theory.

Everyone noticing that /they/ took over education.
We missed /them/ taking over the libraries.

I’m sure it’s not because most librarians are Liberals, after all they are always fair, inclusive, and respectful /sarc

I find it ironic that those who complain most about banning books are the ones who do it the most…

Funny, up to about 10 maybe 12 years ago, we used to go to the library all the time. The kids were a certain age and the town library was actually pretty nice. Plenty of books, both youth and adult, and also a nice video section where you could check out movies. Then we just kinda stopped. Not sure why. Could have been the kids outgrew the programs. Could have been all the streaming services available. Could have been kindle and e-books which were much more convenient. Either way, haven’t been to a library in years.

But most libraries like this are public. And as such, as some point we can take them back.

I was a High School and Middle School librarian for over twenty years in a big school district, and the only man in a department of nearly 25 women. It was a good steady well-paying gig and I made a big difference in a lot of kids’ lives. All the other (women, liberal… but I repeat myself) librarians knew better than to mess with me… I came from a background in the trades (finish carpentry) and made it clear to every one of them from Day One that I was a hard-core conservative with little patience for fuzzy-headed thinking and liberal nonsense. Staff meeting were fun… I would gleefully shred them every chance I could. It was so easy, they had so little common sense. Always did it with a wicked wink and a grin and played the devilish bad boy well. Kept myself in good shape and well-groomed and dressed… I was no soft ironic soy-boy like so many males in the profession. I worked ruthlessly to keep modern degenerate books out of the collection and actively added tons of really good and classic literature for the students to read. So sue me. The Library Administration would have canned me if they could, but the parents loved having a MAN (married for 15+ years and father-of-five) librarian who was keeping an eye out for their children and would have raised Holy Hell if anything happened to me. Plus I ran several after-school clubs (model airplane and rocket building, woodworking, science fair) that were always packed. This is how we win… infiltrate and make changes.
