I called in sick today. They want me to report to employee health for a COVID test. Note that when I actually DID have COVID back in May, no one gave a shit, as long as I came in to work.
I am a family doc in a group of 10 docs. Seven of my colleagues have been out all week with the high fever ache all over , bad cough crap. All with repeatedly negative tests for covid.rsv.flu…?? Not sure what this is but seems very odd don’t it? ( In Ohio).

I feel the same whenever I see maskies walking around. For some of these people it’s a fucking religion.

The only constant is change… And idiocy!
People in my small remote town rarely wear masks, but quite a few people traveling through on the interstate wear them, and when I visit the closest cities (200+ miles away) I tend to see them in certain locations…

So they are told you are sick and they want you to come in for a test? If that’s the case I’d go in with a large sign, sandwich board style, saying “I am sick; I am probably contagious; I am probably contaminating the air you are breathing. Anything I touch is contaminated — doorknobs, countertops, ballpoint pens, paperwork, ANYTHING. I am here because these people told me to be.”
Keep improving — my wife is out for the first time since the 29th.

Does anybody else see the covid tests for everybody who calls in sick regardless of symptoms being used as a punishment in order to discourage sick call?
