If we have learned anything in the past few days, it is this:

The left will try to destroy you if you vary a bit from their desired narrative. If they find out who you are, they will try to silence you, get you fired, and threaten you with the police and lawsuits. It’s important to keep your details private. That is why I have no social media in my own name. None. I have this blog and a Twitter account under the same name.

These leftist, communist assholes will try whatever it takes to ensure that their opinion is the only one that is heard, yet spend time calling us fascists. Remember- you only get flak if you are over the target.

Well, this is the tolerant left now. They live willingly within their little echo chambers. They believe that one of our basic human rights is to never have to be subjected to the violence of conservative speech, known to the rest of us as the truth. It makes them angry.

They don’t want (or want to allow anyone else) to hear your ideas. They want to hear their ideas, but they want to hear them coming out of our mouths.

I worked in IT for many years when the Internet was going from a DARPA project to a public/private co-operative venture. I worked on the TCPIP protocols with a guy who had been an outlaw biker type in a previous life. He ran a little site as a side business that I believe may have been Porn or something. At any rate, he had some security problems with a remote hacker that seemed determined to keep at it. Since that was our line of work, “Phil” found out who was hacking his income stream and took a week off work to go on a long distance Harley ride with some old buddies. DId I mention “Phil” likes his guns too? The feedback from the trip was that they found some teenager at the address half way across the country who was a computer nerd and paid him a visit after school. If an unexpected visit from some surely bikers was not bad enough, the kid had to endure being threateed with an M1911 in his mouth. Message recieved. I’m not suggesting such a course of action, but the moral of the story is that you never really know who you are dealing with on the Internet,, and trying to harass someone with imagined impunity just because they don’t live next door is just plain stupid.

More action like that is the only thing that will stop the fascist/assholes/spammers/hacker types. When evil learns pain hurts, they will stop.

But you share a lot of private personal information. That doesn’t help a random Joe to figure out who you are, but given enough exposure, the number of people who can identify you from the information you leave, is not insignificant. Note that Mrs. Steph C also did not have a social media account in her name (well, ok, first name and last name initial, but with her name it is nothing). It was the tiny amount of personal information left with a specific date that did it for her.

So in my opinion there are only two solutions: you say things exactly as you would say them out loud in public, among people who recognize you. Or else, you really need to not just keep your name off of things, but also any kind of personal information. But then, without the latter, can we really have meaningful conversations?

No email, no cellphone, no bank account, shared family computer.
I do as little as possible to feed the Beast system.
Learned from family and hacker collective.
Also stay anonymous so as not to draw attention from that group of hackers.
Not a fan of gov since parents got IRS audited and they tried to get info out of me as a lil’ shaver behind my parents back.

A few years ago my Aunt died at the age of 100.
Her grandson called me after much research to let me know. He had tried social media and did not find me among the various family sites. I’m not there. The amount of time that people spend on social media is time that can be spent elsewhere. As in grinding rye berries into flour to make a sourdough rye bread toasted and spread with homemade orange marmalade. Or to pressure can cooked Italian meatballs for a quick meal at a later date.Harvesting potatoes and greens for dinner. I know I will never meet anyone from here and yon. There is a connection with others through words. No matter how they are typed in the spaces provided. The trolls will turn to stone one of these days and their words will fade into nothingness.

Plus nothing is more comforting than having a cat hop on your lap wanting their belly petted and neck scritched.

People to the left will often dox people to the right of them; but there’s a wide spectrum of left to right, with room for one lefty’s righty to be another righty’s lefty. It’s threats like this that are precisely why I do remain anonymous.

A couple of years ago, a bunch of us (probably you as well) were hit by that Disney Troll Patrol that had nothing better to do in their lives than to cruise around finding blogs they didn’t like.
They DEMANDED that we stop doing things that they didn’t like or else they would hold their breath and pass out.
They literally said “When we find out who you are, we are going to make fake F*cebook accounts in your names and destroy you.
Too many dangerously unstable mental people out there to put too much personal info online….
