When you send your child to a private school, you do so because that school offers a better education than does a public school. One of the ways that they do that is by controlling the environment through different rules than are present in public schools. You agree to those rules when you enroll, and this is especially true of religious based private schools.
So for a female student to become outraged and complain when a Christian private school requires her to wear a dress in order to attend a school sponsored prom is a bit disingenuous. It would make as much sense if she was outraged when asked to pray before class. You can always go to a different school.

This is today’s left, they not only want to rummage through every single thing that is good, or makes sense, in order to locate something, ANYTHING to be outraged about, they demand that you too be outraged. And if it gets them some sort of social credibility with other pathetic leftists, BONUS!
It’s like the leftist that demanded that we all become outraged because there were no vegan menu choices at KFC.
Yet they not only refuse to be outraged at all the stuff that is genuinely bad for society: war, conflict, crime, violence, filth, etc., they actively promote those things.
Let’s kill babies and mutilate children, let’s trash and burn cities, let’s allow more deadly drugs and dangerous people to overrun the country, let’s promote as much anarchy as possible and ruin education and punish/ridicule those who work hard and play by the rules but praise and reward everyone that doesn’t.
