Thats looks like a Antifa subreddit so what do you expect. Basically rich white kids playing pretend revolutionaries and criminal psychopaths.
I did laugh out loud when I first heard the kiddie anarchists in Portland using the term Anifa back in the 1990’s. The Portland Black Bloc’s historical ignorance was total. As Anifa were the armed militia wing of the German Communist party KPD back in the 1920’s and early 1930’s. The original Antifa allied themselves with the Nazi Brownshirts in attacking meetings of the various moderate democratic parties like the SPD.
The one group who stood up to the Nazi thugs, the Reichsbanner Schwarz, were the main focus of Anifas vicious violent attacks at the time. Antifa rarely took on the Brownshirts.
So without the Antifa street fighters and the KPD the NSDAP thugs would never have gained control of the streets and then kill the Wiemar Republic. Reichsbanner could hold their own against the Brownshirts alone but not against both the Brownshirts and Antfa combined.
The only happy part of this story is that once the Hitler gained power a lot of the Antfia people ended up in Buchenwald, Sachsenhausen and other camps. Although not a few of the Antifa foot-soldiers ended up as Hitlers Willing Executioners. Even in units like the Einsatzgruppen. The political background of some members of the Hamburg unit was pretty interesting.
It seems just like modern Anifa a lot of the original German Anifa were only in it as an excuse to engage in violence for its own sake. A large percentage were violent psychopaths of some form or other. So no change there.
As for Reddit the company. It is a Dot Com 2 scam company. Raised over a $1 billion after selling themselves to Conde Nast.

Yeah, I also initially thought this was just a single example ofan isolated subreddit mod going rogue. But then i found reddit.com/r/WatchRedditDie/ where they catalog this stuff extensively.
