Pravda is reporting that the Russian navy has suddenly sortied its Pacific ballistic missile submarines over the past 3 weeks. This is an ominous sign that the Russians have increased their nuclear alert posture. (Project 955 and 955 A are nuclear armed ballistic missile submarines)
This follows a US exercise where Air Force bombers simulated nuclear attack runs and an increase in Black Sea military activity.

Posturing to keep us pacified while the tanks blitzkrieg to Kiev. I think its time to order some iodine and dust off my old copy of Nuclear War Survival Skills.
