Taking two words from the list it seems to me that the populace is largely in denial.
People fail to see or accept what is going on before their very eyes. A lot of people are going to be caught off guard.

Normally, genocide is against a small part of the population; how does it work (or not) when one third to one half of the population is the target?

The genocide is against the people who oppose them while they import millions from the third world to serve as their chattel slaves.
