Yep. I expect a whole month or two of “mostly peaceful” of burning, looting and rioting in DemonKKKrat blue cities by “sane” aaargle-baargle-raaahr crowds of progtards.

Here’s the irony. The lawsuit that did this was not brought by anti-abortion people. It was brought by the Jackson (MS) abortion clinic, seeking to overturn the Mississippi state law restricting abortion to 15 weeks.
In real terms, this means that abortion goes back to the states – but already hysterical suburban white women are going to lose their shit.

Pence wants this to be “nation wide” or some nonsense.
It’s like no one read the decision. It quite literally says “Oops–this should have been up to the individual states, not the feds”.
One state (I don’t remember which) immediately passed a “no abortions” bill. Several already has some “no abortions except when…” bills on the books in anticipation. I’m sure Washington State and California will have “Everyone gets abortions all the time” bills on the books by Monday if they end up not calling emergency weekend votes.

The state you’re thinking of is Missouri. They had a trigger law ready to go, and the state AG announced that it was in effect about five minutes after the decision was reached.

Glad I live in a conservative state, conservative city, and in a land where abortion is illegal despite Roe v Wade. I don’t expect anything major in my area.
The shotgun will be near by just in case.
