He pointed me to the MTM tactical magazine cases. I got one as a test, and I can say that they are actually pretty good. It has a double latch, three holes for padlocking the case, and enough room to hold fifteen of the 30 round .223 magazines.
It fits Pmags and HexMags just fine. I will be getting more of them.

These are great. I use the 10 double stack handgun + 10 AR-15 version. They’re strong enough, they stack, good handle, etc.

Hey! I’ve got some of those too! I agree, they’re quite nice. I modified the interior to carry a combinations of .308 FAL 20 round magazines and 9mm Berretta 30 round mags. They work great – and I’d also highly recommend them. Maybe not off the ‘zon, but each to their own.
