I will still say that I believe that the Democrat candidate, whomever that turns out to be, will be declared the winner in the 2024 election. After that, what comes next? Here are some clues:

Like most dictatorships, the left only has respect for a court that rules the way that they want it to. Once the court is no longer serving leftist ends, expect there to be big changes. However, the President is simply ignoring the decisions of the court that he doesn’t like. See student loan forgiveness.

This tells me that the rulings coming out on bump stocks, abortion, and braces are simply tools to rile up the leftist base, so the court is permitted to continue. Still, expect to see some changes after the election.

Have faith, I think Trump is going to beat the living shit out of whoever the demorats put up. If the bastards beat Trump it will only happen through another, even more massive, cheat. Then a decision will have to be made, live free or die trying or be subjects of the commies.

    moi · June 16, 2024 at 12:44 pm

I agree, and I think the amount of fraud needed will be so big, they wont be able to obfuscate it. It will be plainly obvious. Then things will get interesting.

      nones · June 16, 2024 at 6:38 pm

IMHO the cheat was plainly obvious. Courts just refused to take up the issues. “Hey judge, do you know where your kids are right now? Want to know what they’re wearing right now? It’d be a shame if anything happened to them”.

If the left can’t control it, then it must be corrupt.

sailor Paul · June 15, 2024 at 1:47 pm

Who is this ‘unwilling majority’ that yon trashbag is talking about? The majority of people in my circles- working class, tradesmen, mariners, gun nuts and retired vets, are pretty on board with the court.

    oldvet50 · June 16, 2024 at 6:55 am

That makes sense. If they didn’t think like you, they would not be in your circle. This vet, gun nut, tradesman, etc. has no respect for the courts anymore – ever since the last appointee could not define what a woman is. Yeah, it’s that simple.

I hate Biden as much as the next person, but he is still legal on the student loan thing. He was trying to forgive the loans using money appropriated under the HEROES Act. The USSC said he could not use that law and money to forgive the loans. So he is using other regulations to do it. It was not a blanket, “NO YOU CANNOT FORGIVE STUDENT LOANS” Decision.

    oldvet50 · June 16, 2024 at 6:58 am

No, all spending is controlled by the House. The president is not King – he cannot make these decisions on his own – nor can he legally grant citizenship which appears to be his next step.

Dirty Dingus McGee · June 16, 2024 at 12:05 am

If you think the 2020 “election” was bad, and it was, just wait. 2024 is gonna make that look like a Cub Scout project. They are already tipping their hand, some of it with the “legal” actions against “Orange Man Bad”. If that doesn’t work out, they will ramp up the tactics used as far as flipping votes, votes coming out of nowhere in the middle of the night (how do you get a voter turnout of 108% of registered voters?), never mind the 30 million illegals they are counting on to vote blue.

President is actually irrelevant at this point, watch the House and Senate. THAT’S where the power struggle, and the most cheating, is going to be. If they go “squalling lefty”, we are screwed. And if they go red we probably won’t be much better off, given the panty wearer’s that claim to be “hard red”. Either way, the sewage treatment plant known as DC keeps gurgling along, burying us “deplorables” under another layer of shit.

Where does John Murphy, Esquire, get the idea that the President *CAN* disband the Supreme Court?

The balance of powers between executive, judicial and legislative branches of the federal government is the design of the country. He can no more disband the Supreme court than the Supremes could outlaw the presidency.

    Divemedic · June 16, 2024 at 7:48 am

Well, he CAN do it, but that would mean that we are postconstitutional at that point

    Big Ruckus D · June 16, 2024 at 3:25 pm

We are post-constitutional already. While some token effort is still spent trying to convince idiots at large we are operating under the constitution, that is self evidently false and has been for a long time. That entire sections of the government – the administrative state – are nowhere provided for in the constitution is itself adequate evidence of the govt operating without legal authority. That it openly fails – with malign intent, no less – to apply the standard of equal protection under the law – is another.

The fancily penned piece of parchment that everyone thinks are the rules of the game means nothing at this stage, it is a mere historical artifact. It has been replaced by scores of statutes and regulations beyond comprehension, and now by the personal biases and whims of those who have power to fuck up anyone or anything they wish to by mere decree.

I think Trump can get it done this time. Pay attention after the first debate later this month. It’s the earliest debate ever in a presidential election season. The left is likely going to take action to replace him on the ticket. How Kamala exits is the question.

If the election is contested because Trump wins, I’d expect to see alot rioting, worse than 2020. Maybe they try to take him out. Violence during the next SCOTUS season is highly likely.

If Dems “win”, I’m not sure what the right does about that. Typically, it isn’t much more than complaining. Dems would get another crack at nominating a justice. If they get control of the Senate and House, they’ll try to stack the court

Elrod · June 16, 2024 at 5:00 pm

“If Dems “win”, I’m not sure what the right does about that.”

It depends on how the Dems win; if it’s above board, fair and square (for various values of “fair and square,” there is always some sloppiness and tweaking going on even in supposedly “pristine” elections) then nothing.

If, however, the shenanigans are blatent, then we’re in “post-Constitutional mode” and the states will have to act….. or the people will. The states could save it, it would be messy but possible; they won;t have much time to act, however, because I doubt We The People would display much patience.

Which makes me wonder……is there anyone in any of the states thinking about, and discussing, what such a turn of events would entail, and require from them?

    Jonesy · June 17, 2024 at 11:25 am

Good question Elrod. If such elements come to pass, I’m guessing things will get figured out real quick. I’ll bet the left has a plan already…. we’ll be the ones catching up.

I did have to chuckle at your comments on how Dems win. Above board? I can’t recall the last time Dems did anything above board. These days it’s about what we can prove.

Many years ago, while watching federal politics, I formulated something I called the dogcatcher rule.
If the left controlled the presidency, then we should respect the president, said the Democrats, media and academics. If they controlled the Senate, then that was the longstanding, noble source of all authority, and you should respect their judgment. If they controlled the House, that was the People’s house, and was the source of all authority.
If they controlled neither the presidency or Congress, then the Supreme Court should be listened to. Unless they decided wrong, in which case it was the 9th Circuit.
If they didn’t control any of the federal branches, then you should listen to the States. If they didn’t control the States, then you should listen to the Mayor, or the City Council.
Finally, if they didn’t control any of the above, then the purest most noble form of authority would be the dogcatcher.
That is the dogcatcher rule.

Remember that when they’re insistent on local control by cities and school boards. I’m actually in favor of devolving power to the local. But they don’t believe that, it’s just a tactic.

But no matter what, under the dogcatcher rule, authority and power will never devolve to the people.

I think this will be a rubber meets the road moment. Lots of these keyboard warriors – on both sides – will need to cash fake checks their mouths are writing.

On one hand, retards who want to redefine the law.

On the other, equivalent retardedness in the patriot community who won’t do nuthin’ and plan to travel back in time to cut the roots of the movement.

It’s like a Phil Hendrie skit.

Drop the booze, get your fat ass on the trail and love your wife. That is what I’m doing.

Who is still talking about elections?
My God you people are really stupid… Did the last one work? Did anyone fix the shenanigans? Well then why wouldn’t it happen again?! But go ahead, think your vote matters! It didn’t last time, but you do you.

    Divemedic · June 17, 2024 at 6:53 am

Who in here said we will be saved by the election? Also, please see the rules about attacking people. Follow the rules, or don’t post a comment.
