The Secret Service decided that they will impose the death penalty for burglary of a vehicle when they opened fire on three people who were breaking into an unmarked Secret Service vehicle. If a private citizen did that, they would be in jail.
At least the moron couldn’t hit shit, because no one was hurt. David Hogg did not respond to requests for comment.

I’m surprised the SS guy missed, I ran across a Secret Service guy once at the range who was making a single hole slightly bigger with his Sig 229 in .357 Sig.
I would have thought they could all shoot pretty well.

Well, it’s good to be the king. Or one of the king’s men, anyway. They get carve outs on “the law” that the rest of us are not granted, so what can I say except “fuck these guys”.
As to the lousy accuracy, the decline of competence and just plain giving a damn, is evident everywhere. Government goons are not immune to this, and in fact their job performance reflects it more frequently as time goes on. It stikes me that the whole world is in an inexorable decline, with no real floor to limit how far down it can slide.

If there were weapons in the car, the agent might have been concerned the thief could take those. Secret Service carries 9mm Glocks now, have been for a few years now.
