Republicans have done nothing but kiss black ass for at least the last 20 years and they still don’t get more than 10% of the black vote. Any Republican who uses the Sailer Strategy of white inreach, instead of black outreach, will be successful.

In all honesty Republicans in general have been “weak sauce” since the 1950s when the Robert A. Taft Republicans ended and were replaced by Ike and the “moderate” Republicans.
Read about Senator Robert A. Taft ! He condemned the New Deal as socialist and attacked deficit spending, high farm subsidies, governmental bureaucracy, the National Labor Relations Board, and nationalized health insurance as well as opposing NATO and the Korean War.
Imagine having him as Senate Majority leader again instead of Mitch McConell.

Republicans… they remind me of a sign on some cargo trailers in the game Saint’s Row (the first), advertising a radio station. The signs said, “Tw@ Broadcasting, talk is cheap, we’re cheaper”.
