Then President Trump claimed in September that by April, the vaccine would be available to all Americans. Dr Fauci and the CDC said he was wrong, and that it would be late summer or fall before that happened.
It turns out that Trump was right (again), while the CDC and Fauci were wrong- or lied– (again).
