Chicago’s city council passed a resolution demanding a cease fire between Israel and Gaza. They might as well have voted to change the value of Pi to 3.0 to make math easier. This is an illustration of just how stupid and narcissistic US politicians are, to think that their resolution matters to people on the other side of the planet.

They don’t expect to influence either side, this is just virtue signaling for clout and establishing that they were “on the right side of history”.
I’m still amazed at how many people went on the record effectively saying rape is OK when Hamas does it. Conflict Theory is,even stupider than flat earthers because it subsumed morality to identity.

Not only does it not mean anything to anyone on the other side of the planet, it doesn’t matter to anyone outside the room they were in.
