Hell, they went nuts because Trump got more scoops of ice cream at dinner. Since this is Biden, and the reporter was from Fox News, well, not so much. “The Five” co-host Jesse Watters said: “I think the president’s right. You are a stupid S.O.B.”

I didn’t even know this until I read your second link.
In that article the exact thing that a**hole (FJB) said was that inflation is good. Thinking his microphone was turned off, Biden responded sarcastically, “No, that’s a great asset. More inflation.”
There aren’t enough exclamation points in the world for how stupid that is. The very best, remotely possible outcome of inflation is your income goes up at the same rate as your expenses do and you never, ever come out ahead. Usually, it comes out unbalanced.
The one and only exception is if you’ve got a contract that requires some fixed number of dollars, and now you have more because “80% of all dollars in existence were made up out of thin air since 2000.” By some strange coincidence, the only institutions that ever helps are big banks and the Federal government. Inflation penalizes savers the most.
