There was an NCIS episode where the online death of a woman was faked… Not quite the same thing but closy.
Meetings where I work pretty much always have the camera off due to limited bandwidth and people mute when they’re not talking, so this wouldn’t work there.

HSSE recently asked me to fake a heart attack during a meeting. It was part of a man down drill. I started warlier in that day by complaining it was too hot in the building, and other warning signs.
I never even got to ‘have’ the heart attack. A few minutes before go time the site AFE who was not in on the drill stood up stopped the meeting and came to my side. He announced he thought i was in medical durress and sent the pipefitter to grab the AED and med kit.
