Democrats are openly rejecting the democratic results of the election and are forming a shadow government to work against the will of the American voters.
They warned us that a Trump victory would signify the end of democracy as we know it. What they failed to mention—what they artfully evaded, in fact—is that it would be they themselves ushering in this demise.

That sounds like Democrat fantasy.
Of course they are going to resist, but like he’s saying it? It’s the unelected beaurocrats embedded in the system that will push back and cause issues, not Dem politicians assuming roles they can’t occupy. Especially while Republicans have all three branches. I fully expect that in 2026, Republicans will lose the house. Too thin a margin. Things will slow way down, so all these disruptor appointments Trump is making better move with purpose until then.

Everything they’ve been saying about Trump, anyone remotely sympathetic to him, and the vast majority of the country is pure projection. Why think anything they say about Trump bringing the end of democracy wouldn’t be projection?

What makes anyone think that just because DJT won, the Dems would stop their nonsense? It’s all the more likely they’ll double down, especially since it was a political blowout (thought the popular vote indicates the Dems still have a lot of support – in the big cities).

When libs use the word ‘democracy’, just substitute the word ‘bureaucracy’ and they make sense. They say, “Trump is a threat to our democracy.” But they mean, “Trump is a threat to our bureaucracy.” or “We must defend our democracy.” Meaning that they want to defend the bureaucracy. Still evil, but their hypocrisy is revealed and their motivations are clear and understandable. They love their bureaucracy and they fear actual democracy.

So…..imposing a “shadow government” to contradict the established and “voted for” government is……what? Didn’t Democrats try something like that in the 1860s?
If they’re just not going to be happy until their misguided views, distorted beliefs, and their tantrums erupt into widespread violence, well, OK, but I think there are much better things to do with one’s time. I guess reconsideration of their beliefs and positions in the face of reality is out of the question.
If things do go kinetic, for a lot of us, we’ll simply follow the Swiss Prescription for dealing with Nazis. Shouldn’t take us more than a few days, maybe a week since this time we’ll have to resolve the entire issue once and for all. Would be nice, though, if they could schedule it for spring when the weather’s nicer; mid-spring, though, so it doesn’t interfere with graduations and stuff.
Wish it weren’t so, but wishes don’t count for much.

It appears to be a video shot in either the House chambers but was it real? If so, it should be found in the Congressional Record. If not, it was for click bait, or some other such nonsense. If it was an official proceeding, the democratic congressman from NC should be brought up on charges of treason. If he isn’t, we’ll know where we stand with our new ‘R’ majority House.
