A few notes in reply to some emails and comments.
I have received a few comments and emails, where the author requested that I don’t publish them. I will honor that, but I will answer them in a rather general way.
My rule against commenting on “it was the Jews” without evidence is because it seems like this is the knee jerk response to people who simply want a scapegoat, evidence to the contrary be damned. Note that my ban on accusations against Israel and those of Jewish descent wasn’t a blanket one. All I said was they won’t be allowed without supporting evidence. Linking to another blog where the author espouses theories on how the Jews did it, but without evidence of his own doesn’t make it evidence.
Having such a rule doesn’t make me a “dirty Jew” or anything else. Stop with the foolish accusations. Seriously.
I had someone else tell me that my experience as a nurse means that I don’t have field experience with shootings and I am just there to monitor bandages that field medics put on. That is false. I have been in emergency medicine for over 36 years, but have only worked in a hospital as a nurse for less than 5 of those years. Before that, I was an EMT and a Paramedic for more than 25 years. I was an instructor and a tactical medic. I worked for a contractor that trained Air Force PJs before they went to Afghanistan. For those who went to the Florida Blog Shoot, you will remember that I gave the attendees a quick and dirty “stop the bleed” lecture.
All of this is nonsense. You are acting no differently than the idiots who claim Trump staged his own assassination attempt. Make your theories fit the evidence. Don’t make the evidence fit your ideas.

Thanks for this. I’ve been fighting the retarded conspiracy theories since the day of the shooting.

The fact that you don’t have field experience is laughable considering that you did list your paramedic experience in your About section. Also the statement that implies that nurses only monitor bandages that field medics put on is an insult to nurses in general and ER nurses in particular. As an AEMT with nearly 9 years experience I have the greatest respect for you and other nurses that work in the ER and put up with 100x the crazy crap we see in the field.

There are always jerks who raise themselves up by tearing down others. Don’t let it get to you. I learn a lot from this blog, and enjoy your blog. If someone denigrates you, why are they reading your blog?? Let them go elsewhere.
