Internal documents show that the BATFE is going from dealer to dealer and looking for minor infractions and then using them to revoke FFLs. Maybe its time that someone challenge GCA ’68 on Constitutional grounds. Most of it has gone far beyond regulating interstate commerce.

You didn’t know this already? It’s been a big discussion point since October. The ATF has held round tables on it with major organizations.
To be honest, these aren’t really minor mistakes – transferring to a prohibited person, in particular, is a HUGE no no.
Having missing guns and not knowing it is also a big issue.
There are so few IOIs that they don’t audit a dealer unless the dealer came up in an investigation elsewhere, and usually not for a small issue.
