Emily Brown is a government contractor. For the past 18 years, she has made a living working part time, billing the government $3700 a month. For 2025, she had three contracts lined up that would have totaled $63,000. What does she do for them?
Her contracts have her traveling to Albania and Ghana to “conduct research on the barriers that girls, women, persons with disabilities, and others face in accessing secondary education in Timor Leste and Gambia.” In other words, she was performing bullshit make-work.
We have entire school districts here in the US where not one student demonstrates reading comprehension. Reading comprehension and literacy in the US is at an all time low. There is no need to go to other countries to study that phenomenon.
This entire article is supposed to make us feel sorry for her and angry at Trump for putting a stop to the wasted tax dollars like this. This is what I voted for, to stop this stupid bullshit.

I don’t understand that chart. They have entire “schools” with enrollments of 19, 30, or 44?
I realize it has been quite some time since I was incarcerated in the public school system, but 44 would have been an average-sized classroom, not a school.
19? Add a principal, vice-principal, two or three office staff, a “counselor”, a school nurse, a rent-a-cop, a janitor, at least one teacher, and probably one or more paid aides, and you’re around 50% as much bureaucracy as student body.
Which, upon reflection, might be the whole point…

Since many students attend school outside their area, I presume they have some form of open enrollment?
Limiting that would keep more kids in local schools…
I find it interesting how much they talk about segregation and Black only areas – the statements in the article sound like they are encouraging it; I wonder if they realize how racist (by their standards) they sound?

When challenged, they have found and proven that yelling “RAYCISSS!!!” at the top of their lungs will stop any investigation. Trump 1.0 showed us how powerful, distributed (deep state agencies, media, prosecutors, etc.), hostile, and unaccountable the ruling class had become. Trump 2.0 is showing us just how vast and deep the waste and grift is. If nothing else, we owe Trump, Musk, and the DOGE team our gratitude for actually attempting an honest audit of where all the money goes. The results to date go far beyond what most of us ever imagined.

Unbelievable that all of this money is going down the same dark “education” hole. As TRX said;

I see the stupid in every day life-people are no longer able to think, process information, or formulate rebuttals to a position. THAT is frightening enough yet we pay millions of dollars to keep it coming. ALL government spending has turned into grift and graft for the connected.Common folks have lost their homes, their fortunes, their livelihoods to the government. No wonder this country is failing. IMHO-stop all of it. If we really need a road, somebody will build it.
