The general trend is: Money printing ->Inflation ->Price controls ->Shortages ->Troops on your streets.

Nothing personal, but you know that is a silly question. The fascists already have total control of fake media, they had total control of social media and still own most of it. That is what communists do, they nationalize everything and immediately people start starving to death.

Yeah. Look for housing first. Either through rent control or outright confiscation.
Followed closely by the energy sector.

What’s amazing to me is that even the North Vietnamese communists recognized that rent control was stupid. After the fact, but the Foreign Minister (in 2019) said, “The Americans couldn’t destroy Hanoi, but we have destroyed our city by very low rents. We realized it was stupid and that we must change policy.” At least they learned from that mistake.

Even Paul Krugman of the NY Times realizes it’s a stupid idea, and Krugman is wrong so often that if he told me the sun rises in the east, I’d check the opposite direction to make sure it hasn’t changed.

Yeah, I know they do it in places like El Lay and other highlights of Californication. Just remember that actual communists realized it’s stupid and counterproductive.

This will likely happen in NE with the illegals. You have the gov of MA talking about people need to “host” the illegals in their houses. NYC is forcing hotels.tontake them.in even though they are destroying private property.

Ha. The biggest monopoly is Fed. And breaking it up would have the largest positive impact on families. Of course they will never do that.

No ned for more legislation. A consumer buoycott – look at the Bud Light saga where tAnhauser Busch is selling off various brands to cut losses – will achieve the same thing.

But that means that there is no increase in Government and government employees so it won’t be allowed.

Sounds good Liz- Lets start with Big Education and their enormous tuition and auxiliary costs.
You know like paying some Senator six figures to teach ONE class.

I wish I understood basic economics. Early in 2021 I bough silver when the price was around $26/oz. Now, after inflation, the spot price of silver is about $23/oz. I lost about 12% of my investment! I thought inflation caused prices to rise, especially precious metals. I guess the REAL precious metals are soon to be lead and tin.

> Will the Democrats push for nationalizing the corporations?

Interestingly, that was the basic economic platform of Mussolini’s Fascist Party, and later adopted by Hitler’s National Socialist German Workers’ Party. Mussolini even referred to Fascism as “corporate socialism.”

Nationalization of corporate entities is a basic socialist move.
