The tagline under the mug shot on the official MAGA gear states “NEVER SURRENDER!” in all caps, despite the fact that Trump, 77, did in fact surrender on Thursday before he was released on a $200,000 bond.
That isn’t the own that they think it is. In the meantime, Trump made his return to Twitter (the website now known as X) with this tweet, which has been viewed over 100 million times in less than 10 hours:

I won’t be buying the t-shirt, but I am suitably amused. Numerous predictions were made online that this is exactly what Trump would do with the mugshot.
I remain unconvinced he will “never surrender”, despite the fact he is now clearly in a no-shit battle for his very survival. I keep trying to picture what his revenge would look like, assuming he somehow makes it back into office. If he doesn’t, his only possible remaining option is is to flee to a non-extradition country that will have him.
Realistically though, if he gets into office again (by whatever unlikely means) what is he going to do, short of ordering crooked swamp fuckers to be summarily executed without the delay of (what we all know would be rigged) trials? He can’t possibly take the system that is now fully aligned against him apart by executive order, nor through legislative cooperation from Congress; as they will never give him a bill that would even begin to dismantle it all. I’m not joking when I say the only means I see to get rid of all the corrupt pigs suckling at the teat is to disregard all constitutional procedure and protection, and send in mercs to liquidate the swamp creatures.
Really, what other form could a clean up operation even take, given where things stand and what we now know about the scope and depth of systemic corruption. Think the .mil will follow his orders? I just can’t see it being done by any “legal”means that lie within the constraints of existing presidential authority, or within the workings of the system as it now operates.
Would love to see someone spitball a scenario where the machine is wrecked by Trump from the inside, without him going full rogue and disregarding “the rules”. I certainly can’t get there from here.
