Does anyone have any information on this ammo? Gel testing?

The numbers look good, and Gold Dot bullets have a great reputation.

200 grain hollow point moving at nearly 1100 feet per second and 518 foot pounds of energy. That will certainly do the job, if the bullet performs well.

Here’s a test of both the GD and G2 GD 200gr +P in gel. I saw another video that even in water the bullet retains near all its weight.

LuckyGunner tested this ammo from a Kahr short barrel as well and velocity was just under 1000, expansion and penetration was good. My concern with this 200gr going 1100 fps would be overexpansion from a full length barrel and not penetrating as deep.

Depends on what you’re looking to shoot it in and if it’s a CCW gun or nightstand gun.

That is the Gold dot, not the Gold Dot 2 +p. Thanks, though.
