The Democrats have weaponized the courts of the state of New York. First, the used them to attack the NRA.
Now they will be used to prevent Donald Trump from ever holding another Federal Office, which was the entire point of the impeachment.
Anyone who has a shot at changing anything will be indicted in New York.

I’m sure that is their hope in attacking Trump… but first, he is popular enough t hat video appearances and rallies by stand ins will help. He isn’t even running yet and people are working on “Trump 2024” merchandise.
Second, if a warrant is issued for Trump on flimsy grounds, there likely will be other states who use similar phrasing (or pass laws creating it) to support him or anybody else attacked by liberal courts like this.
Third, there have been people in the past who ran and won office from prison in the US.
Fourth, if they do try to pursue charges against Trump, especially if they try to arrest him in a conservative area, things will get messy fast. If they take him out in the process, there will be a huge number of ticked off people.
The Democrats see Trump as the leader and genesis of the movement; he isn’t, he is the current public face of it. What will help is to have multiple other people in the movement get national headlines so that there are multiple targets. Will the Democrats succeed in taking down Trump? Maybe… but if they do, they will make things worse for themselves in the long run.

I actually agree with most of your post.
The real danger here is that, once Trump is indicted by a New York court, his ability to travel is severely restricted. Places like the entire northeast, DC, and the entire West coast would be off limits. Kind of hard to be President when you can’t go to DC.
Even so, the biggest disagreement that I have with your comment is this: I don’t see ANY Republican getting elected to the White House ever again, unless they are a RINO that has been pre-approved by the left. After seeing what happened in 2020, I don’t see us voting our way out of this. Elections are now being rigged in full view of the entire world. We are no longer a Democratic Representative Republic.
