Wow….showing that “technique” is wildly irresponsible. Near 100% chance of failure.
First, if you are in that particular situation, you’ve already lost….either you are extremely unlucky, or your situational awareness sucks, or both. At that point, comply unless you are absolutely certain they mean to kill you and said death is imminent.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of “experts” out there giving bad advice. Even some well respected martial artists show some techniques that are impractical unless some very specific conditions are met. Force on force training is a great thing to have in the tool box, but vet the instructor. An easy indicator that you should keep looking is if the instructor teaches techniques but doesn’t explain the limitations and risks of those techniques.
Personally, in 5 years of doing this type of stuff with knives and guns, there are maybe 3 or 4 techniques I would attempt, but only if my life depended on it…they can have my wallet or my vehicle.

So many ways this is BS. How many street goons carry a semi or any gun with a hammer anymore? Modern semi autos like Glock is the pretty much the preferred choice of gang bangers.
What idiots are just gonna stand there while chubby uses her Gun Fu on them. They will already be tweaking and nervous or just plain looking for a reason to off her. As to her comment on gunblast. That looks like at least a 38/357 cal or maybe a cowboy LC 45. The blast at the distance she is, would blind and deafen her so she dead again.
But the funny part is when the guy in front shoots at that range the bullet probably will go thru her and hit his buddy right in the balls.
She should immediately go to Master Ken for proper technique.
“Show me that trick again.
I’ll be the bad guy.
The gun will be loaded with live rounds.”
She will sign a waiver before we begin.
Place your bets.
For the squeamish, we can specify that the loads will be simunitions.
The bet will be “How many welts can I administer to her head before she cries, quits, and reconsiders her gun fu?”
Win-win.
And with her physique, she needs more speed bag, and less feed bag.
I remember the McDojo craze of the 80s and 90s and seeing all kinds of stuff like this. Her poor assistants look so dead inside participating in this farce.
These folks never ever seem to show up to force on force training or grappling courses on how to retain and control weapons. Does this gal have a large presence are we looking at another VODA? What ever happened to that fella anyway
